I’m having major issues with my 13700kf, my PC is running considerably hotter over the last 2-3 months. Performance in games that are cpu intensive has dropped significantly, namely total war where I struggle to pull 30 frames. What’s the best way to tell if you’re affected? I got a i7 14700k and after hearing about this argument with the 13th and 14th generation, I can say that I regret the decision taken. many people recommended amd ryzen 7800x3d to me and I didn't wanted to listen. now I have to live with the fear that at any moment my processor may die. these bios updates don't work to give me confidence from another time! it was the last processor bought from intel! The next one will be an AMD ! I have always been a lover of intel products. I don't understand what happened! such a manufacturing error is not acceptable for such a large company! unfortunately I found out about these problems too late! I couldn't send the processor and motherboard back. I only had 14 days right of return.I'm sorry intel! the mistake is yours! not mine!

The holes to add heatsinks to the vrm are there, so why would they not just pop them on there.??? It would cost them nothing. I understand the need for SI's ...But, HP is a huge company, especially with business machines. They are not a system integrator- "SI" Everything is proprietary....Motherboard, GPU, PSU, case is micro ATX only and Glass front in 2024??? If you change the Motherboard or cpu, your Windows key will most likely no longer work. Adding RGB doesn't make things better or faster. This guy is telling you himself ...crap ram speeds with very high cas latency.... change out the motherboard, upgrade gpu in a couple yrs. This case is designed for this card and will probably fit no others. But with the choked off front panel you would not want this case anyway. If you look at this at Best buy it's $2500.00!!! I'm old enough to remember the awesome the original "VooDoo PC's" Omen and HYPER X brands, before HP bought and ruined them. I would not go this route. No room to upgrade, proprietary everything... Designed to be thrown out in a few yrs. If you don't want to try and build your own just go to Micro Center and pick your parts and have them build it for you. You will have a great upgrade platform, it will be cheaper, and a warranty that will be honored. If you want to go with an SI .... Check out Meta-PC or NZXT BLD... you will also get your moneys worth. Just check out Gamers Nexus reviews of HP OMEN. I have no hate for HP PC's..... Just the the practices of huge corporate brands misleading young people into buying something that they have limited control over. No real BIOS that you can OC and fiddle with and HP proprietary parts through out. I've been building Custom PC's for 17 yrs. I just want everyone to know the pitfalls of dealing with companies this large. This will be E-waste in 2-3 years... just please do your research before buying. Look at trusted review sites that are not being sent free items to keep. Again, Gamers Nexus never accept free gear for review. You cannot give an unbiased review if you get to keep the product. To be fair, if you listen to this guy carefully he is basically telling you not to buy this, without telling you not to buy this. The temps are not good.

I have the same CPU and Motherboard. The 2.5 GBit port is unusable. It's broken. Otherwise I love this board. My CPU also has no issues. I'm still running on the 0814 BIOS. Don't fix what ain't broken. Having fun with this machine for the last 18 months with no single issue.

0:06 how would it improve system performance like would it be worth it upgrading a B motherboard to an X and youve got high end companents (7950 x3d and 4090) what i know its not worth the hassle , unless OC due to more dedicated mosfest vram and etc.. and even then you probably wont gain performance for me i have a cheap mobo z790 prime asus p csm and been wanting to get a dark hero mobo or something high end but feel like i would be burning money for no good use where i could just watercool get lower temps better noise and even watercooling is not really worth it idk im just in a picke hahahaha

Personally Id always recommend hyperx headsets. Ive had the same pair since 2020 and they have never broke or failed me. Audio quality is peak and you could get the wireless model.

Ever since the Obelisk, Omen has made constant improvements with each new desktop iteration. It’s a great platform for newcomers to enter PC gaming and learn how to upgrade and eventually build their own PCs. Love it.

The install on this cooler is total BS. You need a crooked screwdriver and the screws are too short to connect the pump to the bracket. I would never recommend this cooler to ANYONE. When I can, I'm going to replace this garbage on my Ryzen 7 7800X3D. That being said it does work well and looks nice.
